Ceil
The value rounded up to the given number of decimal places: 0 gives the next whole number.
Ceil rounds its input up to a step of one unit at the chosen decimal places: 0 rounds up to a whole number, 2 to the cent. With the default input and 0 decimals it draws a staircase of whole dollars at or just above the closes.
How to read it
- The line sits on the price scale, a staircase at or just above the closes.
- With more decimals the steps get smaller and the line hugs the closes.
What it outputs
- Rounded up
- The close rounded up at the chosen decimal places.
Settings
- Decimals
- How many decimal places to keep. 0 rounds up to a whole number; each extra place makes the steps ten times smaller.
Pitfalls
- It only rounds up: a close of 100.01 reads 101 at 0 decimals, so the line sits above the closes.
