Floor
The value rounded down to the given number of decimal places: 0 gives the whole number below.
Floor rounds its input down to a step of one unit at the chosen decimal places: 0 rounds down to a whole number, 2 to the cent. With the default input and 0 decimals it draws a staircase of whole dollars at or just below the closes.
How to read it
- The line sits on the price scale, a staircase at or just below the closes.
- With more decimals the steps get smaller and the line hugs the closes.
What it outputs
- Rounded down
- The close rounded down at the chosen decimal places.
Settings
- Decimals
- How many decimal places to keep. 0 rounds down to a whole number; each extra place makes the steps ten times smaller.
Pitfalls
- It only rounds down: a close of 100.99 reads 100 at 0 decimals, so the line sits below the closes.
